BoldBrush Video Editing Bootcamp
The BoldBrush Video Editing Bootcamp will help artists set themselves up for success in marketing their work using video. Artists will learn video editing skills that will help them create quality content for all social media platforms, YouTube, and even their own pre-recorded classes/workshops to use for passive flows of income. This is an interactive boot camp taught by Olya Konell; an Artist and Video Editor. Participants will be encouraged to follow along on their own devices.
Bootcamp Dates:
December 8th, 12th & 13th, 2022, at 7pm est
Day one will primarily focus on making reels using Instagram. This will be an in depth step by step guide that will teach you how to create reels that engage the viewer using the newest IG update. This includes: Instagram's reel editing functions, looping reels, how to crop footage, add transitions, extract sounds, repurpose reels for other platforms and much more. We will also cover some of Instagram's engagement tricks to help your content have the best chances for success.
Day two will be all about Adobe Premier Rush (mobile version of Adobe Premier) as well as an overview of other popular mobile apps for making reels out of photos etc. This will cover adding outside music, creative transitions and formatting videos for all platforms including the Artist's Website.
Day three will dive into Adobe Premiere Pro 2022 (Desktop) This course is an Artist's beginners guide to editing video. It covers the basic functions, how to get organized in preparation for editing, as well as steps for adding clips, music, text, basic transitions and much more. Artists will learn how to manipulate footage, how to crop, add movement, add a mask, and remove the green screen using Chroma Key. It will also cover some of the newer AI features that Adobe added which speed up the editing process, along with general information and tips for an efficient workflow.
At the end of each one hour session we have an optional 15 min Q&A.

Required: For sign up, use the email address that is linked with your Zoom account. You will not be able to access the boot camp from any other zoom account and the invite link to attend will be sent to that email after registration closes on 12/5/2022. Once the boot camp is complete a link with a recording for each day will be sent out to this same email for viewing and will be available for 30 days. If you are not able to attend one or more of the sessions, you can watch them at a later time.
